Taylan Halici
Taylan was born in Istanbul and lives in London. His dream, if he allowed himself to dream, would be to make work that has a life on its own terms beyond any structure and makes him a performer in a performance constantly remade by its audience.
At the moment Taylan is investigating the possibilities of going 'local' and focusing his practice in London, after being a passer-by, a foreigner, an observer and a follower of opportunities in the past 10 years.
His most recent project "floodlondon" is a web based project which mines the relationship between the live and the recorded to permit unique journeys for its audiences through the interaction of both forms.
